During “The King of Spring 2018″ we’ll play in the individual formula, but keep 4 separate leaderboards in the contest:
King of Spring – based on the traditional bankroll-builder approach. Every contender receives a $10,000 virtual bankroll. The players who have built the biggest bankroll after 8 rounds wins.
King of NBA&NHL – based on the traditional bankroll-builder approach. Every contender receives a $10,000 virtual bankroll. The players who have built the biggest bankroll in rounds 1-4 wins.
King of NBA&NHL – based on the traditional bankroll-builder approach. Every contender receives a $10,000 virtual bankroll. The players who have built the biggest bankroll in rounds 5-8 wins.
Longest winning streak – yep! We have oldest Zcode contest formula! Players who make longest winning streaks win (streak without a losing pick). Please note that unit sizes don’t matter for a length of the streak. 3 units or 1 unit counts in the same way here. A number of provided wins in a series counts here only! In case of a tie then streak with bigger profit wins.
Know the rules!
Contenders may use 3 units in every round and every player may post up to 3 picks per round. Allowed stakes for picks are from 1 unit to 3 units. That means every contender may post in every round 1 pick with 3 units OR 1 pick with 2 units + 1 pick with 1 unit OR use a flat betting model with 3 picks with 1 unit each. It’s up to contender which strategy prefers. Check detailed rules below to understand how does the model work.
a) Players can use bet stakes from 1 unit to 3 unit. Only integer values.
b) Player can post up to 3 picks per round.
c) Player CAN’T use more than 3 units in total per round (no saving units from previous rounds).
d) There is NO RESTRICTION to stop posting picks after a win in current round as long as a player has any of 3 units remains.
e) Rounds 1-4 are dedicated for NHL&NBA only. Rounds 5-8 are dedicated for MLB only.
In case of a push, player gets his invested units back and he can reuse them with another pick in current round as long as a player has any of 3 units remains.
