NFL Playoffs Divisional Round Picks: Four teams to go!
The NFL Playoffs Divisional Round kicks off this weekend as games take place on Saturday and Sunday.
The Kansas City Chiefs, Houston Texans, Tennessee Titans, and Baltimore Ravens are alive in the AFC. The NFC sees The Minnesota Vikings, San Francisco 49ers, Seattle Seahawks, and Green Bay Packers battling for a place in the Super Bowl.
NFL Playoffs Divisional Round
Minnesota Vikings vs. San Francisco 49ers
The Minnesota Vikings upset the New Orleans Saints in the wildcard round. The Vikings now go up against the San Francisco 49ers, the No. 1 seed in the NFC playoffs.
The home team has won the last five games between the Vikings and 49ers. Minnesota’s win last weekend over the Saints showed they can go away and get a big win. The 49ers could have trouble getting past the Vikings. They have momentum going into the game. San Francisco should get past Minnesota with its strong team. The Vikings’ playoff run could come to an end.
Winner: San Francisco 49ers
Point Spread forecast: -7.5 (17%) on SF
Total: Under 44 (52%)
Minnesota Vikings TT: Over 17.50(55%)
San Francisco 49ers TT: Under 26.50(56%)
Tennesse Titans vs. Baltimore Ravens
Tennesse pulled off a major upset beating the New England Patriots in Foxborough. The Titans now faceoff with an even stronger team in its prime. Baltimore won the most recent game between the two teams in 2018, 21-0.
The Ravens have the second-best offense and fourth-best defense. They should be too much for the Titans on Saturday. Lamar Jackson could solidify himself as one of the NFL’s best quarterbacks heading into the next decade.
Winner: Baltimore Ravens
Point Spread forecast: -10.5 (37%) on BAL
Total: Under 47 (55%)
Tennessee Titans TT: Under 17.50(71%)
Baltimore Ravens TT: Under 28.50(53%)
Houston Texans vs. Kansas City Chiefs
The Houston Texans proved during the regular season that they can go to Arrowhead Stadium and defeat the Kansas City Chiefs. The Texans defeated the Chiefs 31-24. The away team has won the last three games between the Texans and Chiefs, and that is why I think an upset is on the cards.
Houston scored 20 points in the second half against the Chiefs, coming back from 17 points down. Deshaun Watson threw two picks and a touchdown but still led the Texans to the win. Watson did run for two touchdowns and Carlos Hyde and 116 yards on the ground. The Chiefs went 12-4 during the regular season with three of those losses coming at Arrowhead. Upset alert!
Winner: Houston Texans
Point Spread forecast: -10.5 (26%) on KC
Total: Under 51 (55%)
Houston Texans TT: Over 20.00(73%)
Kansas City Chiefs TT: Under 30.50(65%)
Seattle Seahawks vs. Green Bay Packers
Could we see a second upset on Sunday? The Seattle Seahawks went on the road and beat the Philadelphia Eagles last weekend. They will now aim to beat the Packers at Lambeau Field.
The home team has won the last six games between the Seahawks and Packers. That trend should continue despite Seattle being a very good team. Green Bay was 7-1 in the regular season at home. Seattle’s road record was better than at home at 7-1. However, Aaron Rodgers should step up to lead the Pack into the NFC Championship Game.
Winner: Green Bay Packers
Point Spread forecast: +1.5 (49%) on SEA
Total: Under 45 (51%)
Seattle Seahawks TT: Under 21.00(56%)
Green Bay Packers TT: Over 25.50(59%)

NBA Picks January 10: Lakers face Mavericks in Western Conference showdown
The first week of 2020 is in the books and the NBA is approaching the midway point of the season. Several top matchups are on the schedule for January 10 with the Lakers and Mavericks leading the way.
Los Angeles Lakers versus Dallas Mavericks
The Lakers enter with the top record in the Pacific Division and take on the Mavericks who are sitting second in the Southwest Division. Los Angeles is 15-3 on the road, “burning hot” on the Team Strength Oscillator and +28 on the Power Ranking Indicator. In comparison, the Mavericks are 11-8 at home, +19 and “average”. Los Angeles is showing more stability at +22 to +8 on the Team Volatility Oscillator. The teams split the two meeting so far this season. If considering the over/under, play the under as both teams are trending in that direction according to the Totals Predictor. Look for the Lakers to stay hot and come away with a road win.
Indiana Pacers versus Chicago Bulls
In this Central Division matchup, the second-place Pacers take on the third-place Bulls. Indiana took the first two games between the tames this season both at home. They have a +19 to +7 advantage on the Power Ranking Indicator and “ice cold up” versus “dead” on the Team Strength Oscillator. The Pacers are only 8-10 on the road, but the Bulls are even worse at home, sitting at 7-13. Both teams are relatively stable at +12 on the Team Volatility Oscillator. Expect a high scoring game and bet the “over” in this one. Chicago hasn’t had an answer for Indiana yet this season and I expect that to continue.
Orlando Magic versus Phoenix Suns
At second in the Southeast Division, the Orlando Magic take their 5-12 road record to Phoenix to take on the Suns. Phoenix is third in the Pacific Division and 7-13 at home. The teams are nearly identical at “average” versus “average down” on the Team Strength Oscillator are even at +15 on the Power Ranking Indicator. Avoid the over/under as the teams are trending on opposite sides of the line. Orlando is more consistently performing according to their favorite/underdog status. They won the first meeting between the teams at home, but I see a different outcome this time. Take the Suns in a close game, winning at home.
Milwaukee Bucks versus Sacramento Kings
The Bucks enter with the top record in the NBA and are 14-4 on the road. They take on the Kings, sitting fourth in the Pacific Division and are only 8-10 at home. The Bucks are “burning hot down” on the Team Strength Oscillator and +29 on the Power Ranking Indicator. That compares much more favorably to the Kings “ice cold up” and +3. The Bucks are considerably more consistent at +25 to +5 on the Team Volatility Oscillator. The teams are trending on opposite sides of the over/under line, so best to avoid that in this game. There is little to indicate the Kings can pull off the upset. Go with the Bucks to win easily.
Golden State Warriors versus Los Angeles Clippers
The Warriors have fallen to the worst team in the Western Conference and have a 3-17 record on the road. They face a daunting task against the Clippers, who are 16-4 at home and second in the Pacific Division. The Clippers have a +22 to +1 advantage on the Power Ranking Indicator and “average up” versus “dead” on the Team Strength Oscillator. Consider avoiding betting on the over/under on this one according to the Totals Predictor. The teams are performing consistently with their favorite/underdog status and therefore the Warriors have little chance. Los Angeles will win in a blowout.

NFL picks: Wildcard playoff round
The NFL postseason is upon us with the wildcard playoff round kicking off this weekend. Four big wildcard playoff round games will be played on Saturday and Sunday as the road to Super Bowl LIV gets even more exciting.
The AFC will see two games played on Saturday while the NFC’s games will be played on Sunday. Let’s look at the four games and picks for each.
Don’t forget to check out the latest top automated systems at Zcode System!
Buffalo Bills vs. Houston Texans
The Houston Texans will have home-field advantage on Saturday as the Buffalo Bills come to town. The Bills lost their final two regular-season games. The Texans went 1-1 in their final two games including a last day of the season loss to the Tennesse Titans. The Texans loss was unexpected as they fell 35-14.
The Texans defeated the Buffalo the last time they played in Houston in 2018, 20-13. Houston should prevail against the Bills playing at home. Houston was 5-3 at home and 8-4 against the AFC in the regular season.
Winner: Houston Texans
Point Spread forecast: +2.5 (48%) on BUF
Total: Under 44 (52%)
Buffalo Bills TT: Under 20.50(61%)
Houston Texans TT: Under 22.50(62%)
Tennessee Titans vs. New England Patriots
There have been plenty of football fans claiming the New England Patriots and Tom Brady are finished. Don’t tell that to the Patriots, however. They may have lost to the Dolphins on the last day of the season, but the Patriots still went 12-4.
The Pats were 6-2 at home and 8-4 in the AFC. The Titans had a strong road record at 5-3. They were also 7-5 in the AFC. Still, they are playing the Patriots in Foxborough. The home team has won the last three games between the Pats and Titans in the regular season and/or playoffs.
Winner: Tennessee Titans
Point Spread forecast: -5 (15%) on NE
Total: Over 44 (51%)
Tennessee Titans TT: Under 20.00(64%)
New England Patriots TT: Over 24.50(55%)
Minnesota Vikings vs. New Orleans Saints
The last time these teams played in the playoffs the Minnesota Vikings pulled off the Minneapolis Miracle. Will things be different in the Big Easy versus the New Orleans Saints this time around?
The Vikings were just 4-4 on the road during the regular season. The Saints were 6-2 at the Superdome. Drew Brees led the high-powered Saints to three consecutive wins to end the NFL season and a 9-3 record versus the NFC.
Minnesota’s defence should struggle against Brees. When these teams met in the 2018 regular season, the Saints were victories, 30-20.
Winner: New Orleans Saints
Point Spread forecast: -9 (21%) on NO
Total: Over 49.5 (50%)
Minnesota Vikings TT: Under 20.00(53%)
New Orleans Saints TT: Over 28.50(63%)
Seattle Seahawks vs. Philadelphia Eagles
The Philadelphia Eagles are red-hot, but are they that good heading into the wildcard playoff round? The Eagles won the NFC East in part to the Dallas Cowboys capitulating. Philly did win four straight to end the season and posted a 5-3 record overall at home.
Seattle Seahawks were a brilliant 7-1 on the road, which was a massive contrast to their poor 4-4 home total. Seattle was 8-4 playing versus the NFC. They lost two straight games to finish the season Regardless of their end of the season, Seattle should get the win in Philadephia thanks to their great away record.
Seattle has already gone to Philly and won this season. I think the Seahawks will do it again.
Winner: Seattle Seahawks
Point Spread forecast: +1 (45%) on PHI
Total: Under 45.5 (54%)
Seattle Seahawks TT: Under 23.50(56%)
Philadelphia Eagles TT: Over 22.50(54%)
